Friendship Village Of Tempe, a leading senior living community, is seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Caregiver (Full-Time) AL. Our mission is to provide exceptional care and support to our residents, promoting their well-being and enhancing their quality of life.

As a caregiver, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents by providing assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, medication administration, and mobility support. You will develop close relationships with our residents, offering companionship and emotional support while ensuring their safety and comfort.

Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with ADLs, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals
• Assist with mobility and transfers
• Monitor residents’ vital signs and report any changes to the nursing team
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for residents
• Document resident care activities accurately and timely
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans

Requirements:

• Prior experience as a caregiver or in a similar role
• Certification in CPR and First Aid
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Compassion and empathy towards older adults
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
• Must pass a background check and drug screening
