Role Description

The Food and Nutrition Services Aide will be responsible for preparing, cooking, seasoning, and serving adequate, attractive, nutritious, and balanced meals. This includes a variety of dishes such as meat, fish, fowl, vegetables, fruit, soups, salads, desserts, breads, and pastries, as specified and scheduled by the menus. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of an 8th-grade education and the ability to pass a criminal background check as well as a Colorado CAPS background check. A COVID vaccine or valid exemption is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to menus and recipe specifications
• Serve meals to residents and ensure they receive the appropriate portions
• Ensure meals are attractive and nutritious
• Follow all federal and state regulations related to food and nutrition services
• Adhere to established company policies and procedures

Qualifications

• Minimum of an 8th-grade education
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and Colorado CAPS background check
• COVID vaccine required or valid exemption
