DESCRIPTION OF WORK

Our enthusiastic and dedicated nursing staff provides 24-hour care, seven days a week. From helping our residents prepare for their day to assisting them to participate in exciting activities, you will play a huge role in their day. Through this day-to-day contact with our residents, you will have the ability to positively impact their quality of life by providing the best possible care.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

- Full-time employment (8 hours/day; 40 hours/week).

- Available shifts: 1st shift (6:00 am to 2:30 pm), rotating days and weekends, with 30-minute lunch; 2nd shift (2:00 pm to 10:30 pm), rotating days and weekends, with 30-minute lunch; 3rd shift (10:00 pm to 6:30 am), rotating days and weekends, with 30-minute lunch.

- Working every other weekend is required.

- Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

- Active registration as a Nurse Aide in the Pennsylvania Nurse Aide Registry.

Additional Requirement: You must be able to perform essential job functions.

Legal Requirements:

- A conditional offer of employment will require satisfactory completion of a medical examination and a drug screening test.

- This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.

- Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
