Chapter 11 Subchapter V Trustee
The USTP is seeking a talented, motivated individual with business, managerial, consulting, operational, or mediation experience for appointment as a chapter 11 subchapter V trustee in the District of Colorado. In this position, you would be a member of a pool of subchapter V trustees who are available for appointment by the U.S. Trustee on a case-by-case basis to administer cases filed under the Small Business Reorganization Act of 2019 (Subchapter V) in the district. The primary goal of a subchapter V trustee is to facilitate the confirmation of a consensual plan of reorganization for small business debtors. Private trustees are not government employees, but they work in concert with the USTP to ensure the efficiency and integrity of the bankruptcy system. Applications are due by January 31, 2024.
