In this role, you will provide assistance to residents with their basic activities of daily living, supporting an independent lifestyle within the Senior Living/Assisted Living Community. Your priority will be to ensure our residents receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere that recognizes their individual needs and rights.

Position Highlights

• Assist residents with bathing, eating, dressing, and personal hygiene as needed.
• Inform supervisor of changes in residents' conditions and needs. Document these observations thoroughly and communicate any changes to other staff.
• Follow procedures for medication reminders to ensure correct day, time, and dosage.
• Answer emergency call lights and respond appropriately.
• Perform dining room duties and assist with the dining needs of residents.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma or graduation equivalent is preferred.
• Previous experience as a nursing assistant, home health aide, or homemaker/personal care homemaker is preferred.
• Current certificate in an accredited First Aid course and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) is required.
• Participation in a medication course is required.
• Must be able to read, write, and understand the English language.
