Hospice Aide, IPU (Canterbury Place)

UPMC Family Hospice is hiring a full-time Hospice Aide to provide care at Canterbury Place! Apply today to learn more about this role.

This position offers:

• 7am-7pm OR 7pm-7am rotating 3 shifts per week
• $2,000 sign-on bonus

Responsibilities:

• Participate in all required agency meetings
• Identify, develop, and participate in process improvement opportunities within the home health agency to enhance service quality
• Communicate changes in patient's condition to appropriate professional staff in a timely manner
• Provide safe and direct personal care to patients in the IPU setting under the supervision of appropriate professionals
• Complete all required forms accurately and in a timely manner

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A.) required
• 1 year of relevant experience

Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:

• Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
• Act 33 with renewal
• Act 34
• OAPSA

Salary: $8.18 - $13.32 per hour. Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
