HVAC Service Technician

We are looking for an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our team at Fred F. Collis & Sons. As a leading provider of heating and cooling services in Rome, New York, we pride ourselves on offering quality service and expert solutions for residential and commercial customers.

As an HVAC Service Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of service and maintenance tasks on HVAC systems, including troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance. You will also be responsible for communicating with customers, providing estimates for repairs and replacements, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- 3+ years of experience servicing and maintaining HVAC systems
- EPA certification preferred
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work extended hours and weekends as needed

Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic tests and repairs on HVAC systems
- Complete preventive maintenance tasks on HVAC systems
- Communicate with customers to explain diagnosis and work needed
- Provide estimates for repairs and replacements
- Install new HVAC equipment as needed
- Keep accurate records of work performed and parts used
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Attend training and certification courses as needed
