Position: CNA, Certified Nursing Assistant
We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at Bloomfield Care Center. As a CNA, you will play a key role in providing direct care to our residents, ensuring their safety, comfort, and overall well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the nursing staff
- Administer medication under the supervision of a licensed nurse
- Assist with mobility and transfers to ensure resident safety
- Provide emotional support and promote a positive living environment for residents
- Document resident care activities and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure holistic care
Requirements:
- Current certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA)
- Valid CPR and First Aid certification
- Experience working in a long-term care or similar healthcare setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
