Job Details Division: [[division_obj]] Location: [[filter4]] , [[filter3]] , [[filter2]] Other Available Locations: [[mfield1]] DATE POSTED: 10/02/2024 DEADLINE: 10/16/2024 Basic Job Functions: The role of the Production Planner includes but is not limited to: Collaborating with the Planning, Sales, Maintenance, and Operations teams to develop the Sales & Operations Plan, which encompasses production, shipment, and inventory targets Executing the Sales & Operations Plan by creating daily production schedules that optimize customer service and operating efficiency Coordinating with Operations to ensure that production constraints are factored into the daily schedules Operating as a liaison between the Operations, Sales, and Planning teams to resolve scheduling challenges Analyzing inventory levels to determine optimal product mix to maximize shipments and maintain inventory design Providing accurate estimated completion dates to Sales in order to update customers on their orders status [[cust_safetyState]] Minimum Qualifications: Bachelors degree or equivalent years experience Effective analytical and problem-solving skills Experience using Excel and other Microsoft products Preferred Qualifications: Production scheduling experience or experience in manufacturing, metals preferred Familiar with CSP processing of product Nucor is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer M/F/Disabled/Vets and a drug free workplace
