Job Description: HVAC Service Technician
At Aaron Air Conditioning Co, we have been providing cooling and heating solutions to our clients in Massapequa, New York, for over a decade. As our business continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our team.
As a HVAC Service Technician, you will be responsible for performing inspections, maintenance, repairs, and installations on all types of HVAC equipment. Ensuring the equipment operates efficiently and effectively is crucial to the success of our client's projects. We are looking for individuals who are self-motivated, possess great problem-solving skills, and are committed to providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive maintenance and repair services on HVAC equipment, including but not limited to, commercial packaged rooftop units, split systems, air-cooled chillers, water heaters, and refrigeration units.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment and system malfunctions to pinpoint root cause and determine the best solution for repair.
- Install, maintain, and repair electronic, mechanical, and pneumatic control systems.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and complete work orders in a timely manner.
- Communicate effectively with clients and fellow team members to ensure project success and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial HVAC service.
- EPA certification for refrigerant handling.
- A valid driver's license and good driving record.
- Capability to work on ladders, lifts, and other elevated surfaces.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and on-call shifts.
