Job Description: HVAC Service Technician
RSI Carolina, a leader in the HVAC industry, is looking for an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our team in Greer, South Carolina. As an HVAC Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing expert installation, repair, and maintenance services on a variety of HVAC equipment to ensure maximum customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
• Install, repair, and maintain HVAC equipment in both residential and commercial environments
• Perform preventative maintenance on a regular basis to reduce downtime and increase equipment lifespan
• Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC equipment malfunctions to resolve issues in a timely and efficient manner
• Communicate effectively with customers to ensure they have a clear understanding of the repair process and necessary steps for future maintenance
• Maintain accurate records of service calls, work orders, and inventory to ensure efficient and organized operations
• Stay up-to-date on current industry trends and best practices to continuously improve service quality
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent required; trade school certificate or degree in HVAC preferred
• At least 1 year of experience in HVAC service and repair
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including troubleshooting and repair
• Familiarity with common HVAC equipment, including air conditioning units, boilers, furnaces, and heat pumps
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
