Contract Overview

This is a placement contract between you and the employer. If the employer hires a candidate you submit, you'll be paid the contract amount.
The payments begin when the candidate starts and are disbursed over time. The contract terms are:

• Market price: $800 USD
• Est. Payment schedule: Paid monthly over 8 months

Position: CNA Mentor

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced CNA Mentor to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing guidance and support to newly hired Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) as they navigate their roles in our community. Your expertise and mentoring will play a critical role in helping our CNAs develop their clinical and interpersonal skills and deliver high-quality care to our residents.

Responsibilities:

• Mentor and support newly hired CNAs by providing guidance, instruction, and feedback
• Ensure CNAs are familiar with our community's policies, procedures, and resident care standards
• Assist in orienting new CNAs to their assigned units and providing them with the necessary resources
• Demonstrate proper techniques and procedures to CNAs, emphasizing safety and efficiency
• Observe and evaluate CNAs' performance, identifying areas for improvement and offering constructive feedback
• Collaborate with the nursing leadership team to implement ongoing training programs for CNAs
• Provide emotional support and encouragement to CNAs as they adjust to their new roles
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to resident care planning

Qualifications:

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CNA in a senior living or healthcare setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated ability to mentor and motivate others
• Strong knowledge of clinical procedures and best practices
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Compassionate, patient, and able to empathize with others
