Contract overview

This is a placement contract between you and the employer. If the employer hires a candidate you submit, you'll be paid the contract amount.

The payments begin when the candidate starts and are disbursed over time. The contract terms are:

Market price: $5,300 USDEst.

Payment schedule: Paid monthly over 7 months

What we're looking for

We are looking for a senior level backend software developer to join our team. The position involves implementing & maintaining the wide variety of features in our digital immigration web application. We mainly use Python 3 & Django, but we're looking for anyone with solid experience in a modern web framework.

Responsibilities

  • Understand user and product requirements
  • Participate in building and product features and fixes
  • Work with architecture team to determine system design requirements
  • Work with a cross functional team to deliver solutions for our internal and external end-users
  • Help debug production issues

Requirements

  • 5 years experience with software development
  • Experience with PostgreSQL
  • Experience working with production systems and deployments
  • Understanding of industry security practices
  • Align with SimpleCitizen's vision of providing innovative solutions to simplify global mobility and immigration

Salary Range: $100K -- $150K

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
