Job Description

Phoebe Berks is currently seeking a dynamic and energetic Activities Lead to join our team. As an Activities Lead, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents by planning and coordinating engaging activities and events.


Responsibilities

Your responsibilities as an Activities Lead will include:

  • Developing and implementing a variety of meaningful activities and programs to meet the physical, emotional, and social needs of our residents.
  • Collaborating with our team of care professionals to assess residents' preferences and interests, and incorporating these into the activity plans.
  • Organizing and supervising group activities, such as games, exercise classes, and educational workshops.
  • Planning and coordinating special events, outings, and social gatherings to promote socialization and community engagement.
  • Providing individualized support and encouragement to residents who may require assistance with participating in activities.
  • Maintaining accurate records of attendance, participation, and program outcomes.
  • Ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for all participants, adhering to safety guidelines and protocols.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, we require the following qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in planning and leading activities for seniors is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and build positive relationships with residents and staff.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
