Job Description About the Team: Reporting to the Head of Aftermarket Purchasing Region North America and Control Systems Global Purchasing, you will be responsible for serving as the functional expert for Aftermarket Purchasing activities in North America related to Control Systems. You will join a highly motivated and competent team focused on sustainably driving savings and sourcing excellence with a focus on our customers. What you can look forward to as Sourcing and Technical Purchasing - Control Systems: Purchasing activities: sourcing, launch, cost management, and supply base management Set contractual agreements for regional suppliers operating globally, regionally, and locally ensuring competitiveness Manage supplier performance Maintain vendor data in ERP system Identify and evaluate market trends that are necessary for the purchasing strategy and target achievement Your Profile as Sourcing and Technical Purchasing - Control Systems: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Purchasing, Supply Chain Management, Economics or related field Minimum 5 years experience in Direct Material Purchasing capacity - technical, commodity, or product purchasing in a manufacturing environment Knowledge of ERP, PLM systems and project management Able to read, comprehend technical documents, facilitate technical reviews, and VAVE Proficient in Microsoft O365 Advanced Analytical and technical skills Why you should choose ZF?
