Job Description: HVAC Service Technician

As an HVAC Service Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for both residential and commercial properties. You will work closely with our customers, providing exceptional service and recommending solutions to their HVAC problems.
Key responsibilities include:
- Performing routine maintenance on HVAC systems, such as cleaning coils, replacing filters, and checking refrigerant levels
- Diagnosing and repairing HVAC system malfunctions, such as electrical faults, compressor issues, and refrigerant leaks
- Installing and replacing HVAC equipment, such as air conditioning units and furnaces
- Providing excellent customer service, including communicating effectively with customers and keeping them informed throughout the service process
- Maintaining accurate records of all service work performed
- Staying up-to-date on new HVAC technology and best practices
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in HVAC service and repair
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and their components
- Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- The ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- EPA certification preferred but not required
