Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook a variety of appetizing and nutritious meals for residents following the provided recipes and dietary guidelines.
• Ensure the food preparation area is clean, organized, and properly stocked with ingredients for efficient meal preparation.
• Collaborate with the dietary team to plan menus that meet the nutritional needs and preferences of our residents.
• Monitor food supplies and keep inventory to ensure an adequate stock of ingredients.
• Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene to ensure the health and well-being of our residents.
• Coordinate and communicate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation and efficient meal service.

Requirements:

• Prior experience working as a Cook or in a similar role in a healthcare or senior living facility is preferred.
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques, dietary restrictions, and nutrition guidelines.
• Ability to follow recipes and prepare meals in large quantities while maintaining quality and presentation.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with the dietary team and other kitchen staff.
• A strong passion for cooking and providing exceptional dining experiences for our residents.
