Job Description: HVAC Installer at William G. Day Company
At William G. Day Company, we aim to create comfortable and efficient environments for our clients. To do so, we’re looking for a skilled HVAC Installer to join our team. As an HVAC Installer, you’ll work closely with our installation team to ensure that our projects are completed on time and to the highest standard.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with our installation team to complete HVAC projects within the scheduled time frame
- Install HVAC equipment, including furnaces, air conditioners, and ventilation systems
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- Perform testing and diagnostics on new installations to ensure proper functioning
- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC equipment
- Comply with all safety regulations and building codes
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Complete paperwork and documentation accurately and in a timely manner
Requirements:
- Previous experience in HVAC installation
- Knowledge of HVAC systems, including proper installation techniques
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational ability
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with clients
