STARTING AT $15.00+ PER HOUR WITH A $2.00 SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL PER HOUR FOR THOSE WORKING SECOND SHIFT!
CURRENT OPENINGS:
- Full-time: 80 hours biweekly: 11:00AM-7:30PM
- Part-time hours also available: 6:30AM-10:30AM or 4:00PM-7:30PM
- ONLY Every Other Weekend/Holiday required.
- No late evenings!
The Food Service Worker maintains a clean, sanitary kitchen area and assists in maintaining the stock, dishwashing, and refrigerator areas. They serve resident meals in a friendly, professional, and timely manner and ensure all assembled food conforms with prescribed diet. This position is performed in accordance with Mennonite Home Communities Core Values, Mission Statement, and regulations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Prepares, dishes, and serves food based on menu items. Refills condiments. Assists residents with food selection and/or unsealing packages.
- Sets, clears, and washes tables. Empties all garbage and cleans emptied cans. Washes, cleans, and stores all items from the dish room.
- Replenishes necessary supplies. Puts away and rotates stock as needed.
- Correctly operates various kitchen equipment. Properly documents temperatures.
