Packaging Operator

Our client, in manufacturing is seeking a packaging operator to join their team. As a packaging operator, you will be part of the final stages supporting production. The ideal candidate will have reasoning skills, multitasking and reading and math which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Packaging Operator Location: Seabrook, NH Pay Range: $19-$20/hr Hours: 1st shift 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM 2nd 2:00pm-10:30pm What’s the Job? Entering in test results and material confirmations using a computer Transporting material Fills containers with completed mixes, palletizes, and transports to stage area. Maintains accurate inventories, performs production reporting Following safety standards What’s Needed? Must be able to twist knobs, pull levers, turn valves, push control buttons, and attach hose connection Must be able to read, write, use a computer, reason, calculate simple math This position requires the use of chemicals, some of which may contain hazardous material, and involves handling, moving, storing, and/or disposing of waste that may contain hazardous materials. Must apply personal protective equipment including full face mask respirator, hearing protection, and frequent change of specified rubber gloves.
