Job Description: HVAC Installer

We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated HVAC Installer to join our dynamic team.
As an HVAC Installer at Desert Diamond Mechanical, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the comfort and well-being of our valued customers. You will be responsible for installing and maintaining a wide range of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, including ductwork, thermostats, compressors, evaporators, and more. Your expertise and attention to detail will ensure that our customers' systems operate efficiently, saving them energy and money.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and maintain HVAC systems according to specifications and industry standards
- Collaborate with our team to design and layout ductwork, considering factors such as airflow, energy efficiency, and aesthetics
- Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostics to identify issues and provide accurate recommendations
- Install, wire, and connect various components, such as thermostats, air handlers, condensers, humidifiers, and air purification systems
- Perform tests and adjustments to ensure proper system performance and efficiency
- Educate customers on equipment operation, maintenance, and energy-saving tips
- Complete documentation accurately and promptly, including service reports and material usage
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Completed HVAC certification or apprenticeship program
- Proven experience as an HVAC Installer, preferably in a residential or light commercial setting
- Proficiency in installing and troubleshooting various HVAC systems and components
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions and industry standards
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
