Position: Facilities Director

We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Facilities Director to oversee the maintenance and upkeep of our community. As the Facilities Director, you will be responsible for managing the physical assets of our facility, ensuring that they are safe, well-maintained, and in compliance with all regulations.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance program for all aspects of the community, including buildings, grounds, and equipment.
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of external contractors, ensuring that all repairs and maintenance tasks are completed in a timely manner.
  • Oversee the budget for facilities maintenance, ensuring that funds are allocated appropriately and expenses are kept within budget.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify any safety hazards or maintenance issues.
  • Create and maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed on the facility.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations pertaining to facility maintenance.
  • Manage a team of maintenance staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality work performance.
  • Collaborate with other departments to identify and address any facility-related needs or concerns.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in facilities management, preferably in a senior living or healthcare setting.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Proven track record in budget management and cost control.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated ability to problem-solve and make sound decisions.
  • Proficient computer skills, including knowledge of maintenance management software.
