Job Description: HVAC Installer
At Smith Htg & Clg, we pride ourselves on delivering personalized HVAC solutions to our customers in Boulder, Longmont, Denver, and beyond. We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented HVAC Installer to join our team in Moberly, Missouri.
As an HVAC Installer with us, you'll be responsible for installing heating, cooling, and ventilation systems in residential and commercial properties. You'll work closely with our sales team to determine the needs of each project and develop a plan to ensure timely and efficient installations that meet or exceed customer expectations.
You'll use your comprehensive knowledge of HVAC systems to:
• Install, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems, including pumps, refrigeration units, air handlers, and ductwork.
• Collaborate with electricians, plumbers, and other contractors to ensure seamless installations.
• Interpret blueprints and specifications to select appropriate equipment and materials.
• Conduct quality and safety inspections to ensure that all installations meet industry standards and comply with safety regulations.
In this role, you'll work both independently and as part of a team, so strong communication skills are essential. You'll be regularly interacting with customers and should be comfortable explaining technical information in a clear and concise manner.
Required Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or GED
• EPA Universal certification
• Minimum of 2 years of HVAC installation experience
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights
• Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds
