Job Description: HVAC Service Technician
Weather Engineers is currently seeking a highly qualified HVAC Service Technician to join our team in Melbourne, Florida. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on a variety of HVAC systems for both residential and commercial properties.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair HVAC systems, including furnaces, boilers, air conditioning units, heat pumps, and ventilation systems
- Perform preventative maintenance to ensure that HVAC systems are running efficiently
- Provide customers with guidance on how to properly maintain their HVAC systems
- Install new HVAC systems and components as needed
- Test HVAC systems to ensure that they are running properly before leaving the job site
- Maintain accurate records of all work performed
- Attend ongoing training sessions to stay up-to-date on the latest industry trends and technologies
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- HVAC certification from a reputable program
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working in HVAC service and repair
- Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
