Job Description: HVAC Service Technician
We are an established heating, cooling, and ventilation company, Smith Htg & Clg, dedicated to providing personalized HVAC solutions to our clients in the beautiful city of Boulder, Longmont, Denver, and beyond. We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated HVAC Service Technician to join our team in Moberly, Missouri.
As an HVAC Service Technician, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic, repair, and maintenance work on residential and commercial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. You will work closely with homeowners, business owners, and contractors to ensure that their HVAC systems are running smoothly and efficiently.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting diagnostic tests to identify the root cause of HVAC system problems
- Repairing and maintaining HVAC equipment, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ductwork, and thermostats
- Identifying and recommending upgrades or replacements for outdated or inefficient equipment
- Installing new HVAC systems and ductwork as needed
- Maintaining accurate records of work performed, including parts used, labor time, and recommendations for future work
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as an HVAC Service Technician
- Proficiency in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining HVAC equipment
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A reliable vehicle and valid driver's license
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- NATE certification is an asset
