As an Admissions Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth and efficient admissions process for our patients and their families. This position requires availability on Fridays through Mondays.

Responsibilities

- Assist in coordinating and scheduling patient admissions, transfers, and discharges.

- Collect and verify necessary patient information and documentation.

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and files.

- Communicate and collaborate with the admissions team, medical staff, and other departments to ensure seamless transitions for patients.

- Provide excellent customer service to patients and their families, answering questions and providing information about our facility and services.

- Assist with insurance verification and billing processes.

Requirements

- High school diploma or equivalent.

- Previous experience in a healthcare setting or similar role preferred.

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

- Proficiency in using computer systems and software.

- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
