Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Sr. Administrative Assistant. This position is based in a construction phase environment and involves administrative tasks related to our unique industry of converting human waste into gas. The role is based onsite and requires the skillful management of various office and HR-related tasks. Responsibilities: • Assist with the inventory management of office supplies and place orders as necessary • Support purchasing needs by creating and managing purchase orders • Develop and manage employee schedules, ensuring efficient operations • Assist in the implementation of training and annual safety programs • Create certificates for the employee of the month program • Handle HR-related tasks and activities at the facility level, liaising with the corporate HR team as required • Utilize software tools like Concur, CRM, About Time for various administrative tasks • Participate in the coordination of office activities and operations to secure efficiency • Assist in budgeting and bookkeeping procedures, ensuring accurate record keeping • Facilitate communication through scheduling and coordinating conference calls. Requirements • Must have prior experience as an Administrative Assistant or similar role • Proficiency in the use of Concur, CRM, and About Time software • Knowledge of Budget Processes is required • Strong Calendar Management skills are essential • Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal • Ability to manage Conference Calls effectively • High level of organizational skills and attention to detail • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and demands • High level of discretion and confidentiality • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure • Proactive attitude towards improving processes and systems.
