Job Description: HVAC Service Technician at MTB Mechanical

As an HVAC Service Technician, we are looking for someone who is skilled and experienced in installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVACR) systems for residential and commercial properties.

Key responsibilities of the role:
- Diagnose and troubleshoot HVACR systems, identifying the root cause of the imbalance or malfunction quickly
- Perform maintenance and repairs on HVACR systems, ensuring they run efficiently and effectively
- Conduct installation and service activities for new HVACR systems, using schematics and other technical documents
- Advise customers on the best ways to maintain and use their HVACR systems to extend their life
- Stay up to date with the latest HVACR industry codes, standards, and technologies
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Valid HVACR certification or equivalent experience
- Ability to diagnose, analyze, and resolve HVACR system problems using established procedures and guidelines
- Knowledge of HVACR systems repair and installation principles and techniques, including electrical, plumbing and refrigeration systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- 2-5 years of experience working with HVACR systems
