Job Description: HVAC Service Technician
United Mechanical Contractors is a reputable company that delivers quality heating, ventilation, and air conditioning services to its clients across Klamath Falls, Oregon. We are seeking a reliable and experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our team and achieve our mission of providing the best service in the industry. As the HVAC Service Technician, you will perform maintenance, repair, and installation of residential and commercial HVAC systems.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems, including heat pumps, air conditioners, furnaces, and boilers
- Perform routine maintenance and tune-ups, such as cleaning coils and replacing filters
- Install and upgrade HVAC systems, as well as supplementary equipment like thermostats and ductwork
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and orderly workspace
- Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues
- Prepare accurate service reports and maintain records of work performed
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; HVAC certification preferred
- At least 3 years of HVAC repair and installation experience
- Strong knowledge of electrical, refrigeration, and mechanical systems
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
