Job Description: HVAC Service Technician

As an HVAC Service Technician, you will be responsible for performing installations, repairs, and maintenance services for our customers. You will be working at their homes or commercial properties, representing our company and maintaining our high standard of quality and excellence in HVAC services.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Performing regular maintenance on a variety of HVAC systems, including heat pumps, furnaces, and air conditioning units
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting any issues or malfunctions in these systems, and finding quick and effective solutions for them
- Conducting installations of new HVAC systems, and ensuring that they are configured and calibrated properly
- Communicating with customers in a friendly and helpful manner, answering any questions they may have, and educating them on how to use their HVAC systems properly
- Staying up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and regulations in the HVAC industry, and applying this knowledge to your work
To be successful in this role, you need to have:
- At least 2 years of experience as an HVAC Service Technician, with a strong track record of successful installations and repairs
- Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, including a good understanding of electrical and plumbing work
- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think on your feet and come up with creative solutions
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and explain complex technical issues in simple terms
- A professional attitude and a commitment to providing excellent customer service in all your interactions
- A license or certification from a recognized authority would be an asset
