Duties

• Perform professional massage therapy sessions for clients, following established protocols and guidelines.
• Assess clients' needs and create customized treatment plans to address their specific concerns.
• Provide exceptional customer service and ensure client satisfaction throughout the massage session.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including sanitizing equipment and changing linens between clients.
• Educate clients on the benefits of regular massage therapy and recommend appropriate self-care techniques.

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a licensed massage therapist.
• Proficient in a variety of massage modalities, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, and prenatal.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology to effectively target areas of tension or discomfort.
• Experience using a point-of-sale (POS) system for scheduling appointments and processing payments.
• Previous experience in store management or supervisory roles is a plus.
• Bilingual skills (e.g., English/Spanish) are highly desirable for effective communication with diverse clientele.
• Proven ability to market services and attract new clients through various channels (e.g., social media, community events).
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions, calculating tips, and managing inventory.
• Familiarity with sales management techniques to upsell additional services or products to clients.
• Excellent negotiation skills to discuss pricing options with clients and secure repeat business.
• Experience in recruiting and training other massage therapists is an advantage.
