Job Description: HVAC Service Technician
At Timberline Heating & A/C, we believe in providing exceptional heating and cooling solutions to our customers. We're currently seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our team in Redding, California. As an HVAC Service Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining HVAC systems for our residential and commercial customers.
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and safety
- Accurately diagnose and repair faulty HVAC systems, as well as install new equipment and components
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members to provide efficient and satisfactory service
- Complete service reports and other paperwork in a timely and accurate manner
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, as well as ensure company vehicles and tools are properly maintained
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years of experience as an HVAC Service Technician
- Knowledge of HVAC systems and components, as well as the ability to accurately diagnose and repair issues
- EPA certification and other relevant licenses/certifications based on state regulations
- Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with customers and team members
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
