Job Description: HVAC Installer at A Plus HVAC Inc.
A Plus HVAC Inc. is a reputable heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) company seeking to hire an experienced HVAC Installer to add to our top-notch team. As an HVAC Installer, you will be responsible for installing and repairing various HVAC systems and equipment, including air conditioning units, boilers, furnaces, and heat pumps.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair HVAC system components, such as ductwork, thermostats, and exhaust fans
- Interpret blueprints and specifications to install HVAC equipment efficiently and correctly
- Ensure that all installations are safe, up to code, and pass inspection requirements
- Test HVAC systems for proper functioning and diagnose any issues
- Remove old HVAC systems and replace with new ones
- Communicate effectively with team members, customers, and suppliers
- Provide excellent customer service at all times
Qualifications and Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Formal training in HVAC installation or related field
- 2+ years working experience as an HVAC Installer
- Excellent knowledge of HVAC industry codes and safety regulations
- Ability to interpret blueprints and schematics
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Must have a valid driver's license and a reliable mode of transportation
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and environments, including confined spaces, heights, and tight spots
