Responsible for the filling, packaging, labeling, and processing of new and commercialized Biosciences Division (BID) and Genetic Sciences Division (GSD) products by following the appropriate documentation and procedures. Ancillary tasks include staging raw materials, cleaning laboratory hardware, off-loading automated filling, and supporting the department wherever assistance is needed. Majority of responsibilities take place within a cleanroom environment. What will you do? Operate an assortment of semi-automated and manual filling and packaging equipment, including pipettors. Maintain a disciplined environment and enforce departmental and company policies. Operate a variety of industrial equipment, including filling pumps, auto-labelers, autoclaves, and labware washers. Proper completion of required manufacturing documentation under ISO13485 guidelines. Assist department by staging raw materials, cleaning laboratory hardware, and off-loading automated filling lines. Meet production quality, EHS, and PPI goals and objectives. Perform all work activities in a safe manner. Maintain a safe and clutter-free work area and report property damage and/or safety hazards to the Supervisor, Human Resources, Safety Specialist, or Senior Management immediately. Skills and Qualifications Assembly Hand Tools Schematics Mechanical Assembly Ability to prioritize and lead through complex processes/projects Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions Ability to utilize various standard programs for data entry and word processing Familiarity with SAP and other business software a plus Job Type This is a contract position with a duration of 52 weeks Work Site This is a fully on-site position in Austin, Texas.
