HVAC Service Technician

Allied A/C & Heating is seeking a reliable and experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our expanding team in Libertyville, Illinois. As an HVAC Service Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in both residential and commercial settings.

Responsibilities:

- Conducting routine maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure efficient operation
- Installing new HVAC systems, including ductwork, piping, and electrical wiring
- Troubleshooting and repairing HVAC system malfunctions
- Advising customers on the most appropriate HVAC system upgrades and replacements
- Documenting all work performed and parts used
- Maintaining a clean and organized work site
- Maintaining current knowledge of HVAC industry regulations and technologies

Requirements:

- Minimum of three years of experience in HVAC operations, installation, and maintenance
- EPA Universal Certification
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and as a team
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces
