Responsibilities

• Administer therapy as outlined in the plan of care to assist residents in developing or regaining functioning to perform activities of daily living
• Administer occupational therapy treatments as prescribed by physicians and the plan of care established by the Occupational Therapist
• Report resident's progress, complications, and response to treatments to the Occupational Therapist
• Assist the Occupational Therapist in performing procedures, tests, and complex treatments to ensure safe and effective evaluation and treatment of residents
• Maintain confidentiality of patient, facility, and physician-related information
• Accurately maintain billing information on a daily basis
• Participate in interdisciplinary meetings to relay clinical findings and recommendations to the rehab team
• Participate in family meetings as appropriate
• Adhere to documentation requirements of the Rehabilitation Department and the facility
• Meet productivity standards as established by the Director of Therapy

Qualifications

To be considered for the position of Certified Occupational Therapist, you must meet the following minimum qualifications:

• Occupational Therapist Assistant in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in good standing
