Job Overview

We are currently seeking a Personal Care Assistant (Non Certified) to join our team. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting residents with their daily activities and ensuring their overall well-being. Responsibilities

• Provide direct assistance to residents with personal care activities, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Assist residents with mobility and transfers, ensuring their safety and comfort.
• Help residents with meal preparation and feeding, adhering to dietary guidelines and restrictions.
• Engage in conversation and activities with residents to promote socialization and mental stimulation.
• Monitor residents' physical and emotional well-being, promptly reporting any changes or concerns to the appropriate staff.
• Maintain a clean and organized living environment for residents.
• Follow all established procedures and protocols to ensure resident safety and satisfaction.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and communicate effectively to provide comprehensive care to residents.
• Attend trainings and educational sessions to stay updated on best practices and developments in the field.
• Adhere to all relevant regulations, policies, and guidelines.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a personal care role, preferably in a healthcare or assisted living setting.
• Compassionate and patient demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively within a team.
• Solid organizational and time-management abilities.
• Basic knowledge of personal hygiene and sanitation standards.
• Must be able to meet the physical demands of the job, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
