Dietary Aide -WEEKLY PAY

Job Description:

Bath Manor Special Care Centre is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dietary Aide to join our team. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a crucial role in providing nutritional support to our residents. We offer a competitive weekly pay and a supportive work environment.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare and serve meals and snacks to residents according to dietary guidelines and individual care plans

- Assist with food preparation, including chopping, cutting, and measuring ingredients

- Collaborate with the dietary team to ensure meals are well-balanced and meet nutritional requirements

- Clean and sanitize work areas, utensils, and equipment to maintain a safe and hygienic kitchen

- Assist residents with dining, including meal set-up, feeding assistance, and monitoring of dietary restrictions

- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures

- Document and report any dietary concerns or issues to the dietary supervisor or nursing staff

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Previous experience as a dietary aide or in a similar food service role is preferred

- Knowledge of food preparation and sanitation guidelines

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Compassionate and patient demeanor

- Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team

- Must be able to lift, push, and pull heavy objects
