Job Description

Under the direction of the Administrator, the Assisted Living Manager at Bloomfield Care Center is responsible for planning, developing, organizing, directing, and evaluating the services offered and provided to tenants. The Assisted Living Manager also coordinates the preventative and restorative maintenance and upkeep of the independent and assisted living apartments, grounds, offices, and common areas including equipment, appliances, furnishings, and lawn care.


The Assisted Living Manager monitors, evaluates, and develops action plans based on tenant satisfaction, occupancy, and financial goals. They supervise, direct, and coordinate team members who share responsibilities between the care center and the assisted living.


Qualifications

The ideal candidate for the Assisted Living Manager position has a high school diploma or equivalent and completed post-secondary level course(s) in business and/or marketing. They also preferably possess an Assisted Living Manager certification and have a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in human relations, marketing, business, or another work-related field. Licensure or certification as a healthcare professional or paraprofessional such as CNA, CMA, LPN, RN, or ARNP is preferred.


Strong oral and written communication skills, general office skills, and basic computer skills are essential for this role. Additionally, per the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), COVID-19 vaccination is required, with exceptions for medical and religious accommodations when reasonable.


Additional Information

Shift: Mon-Fri, 8a-4p; approx. forty (40) hours/week

Salary Range: $40,000/yr-$50,000/yr, negotiable (DOE)
