Silver Stream Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced HR Director to join our team. As the HR Director, you will play a crucial role in leading and managing our human resources department, ensuring the effective implementation of HR policies and procedures. This is a full-time position with an estimated salary of $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Responsibilities:

- Assist with internal and external HR related inquiries and requests.

- Maintain employee records.

- Assist with the recruitment process by identifying candidates, performing background checks, scheduling interviews, and providing in-services in corporate compliance mandates.

- Perform orientations and update records of new and current staff.

- Support other assigned functions within the HR department.

Requirements:

- Experience as an HR Coordinator, preferably in a Nursing Home or Health field.

- Exposure to Labor Law and employment equity regulations.

- Effective people management skills.

- Good understanding of HR functions and best practices.

- Good written and verbal communication skills.

- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

- Highly computer literate, with proficiency in email, MS Office, and related business and communication tools.
