Job Description: HVAC Service Technician at Mauder Heating & Air Conditioning
Mauder Heating & Air Conditioning is currently seeking a skilled HVAC Service Technician to join our team in Northwood Ohio.
As an HVAC Service Technician on our team, you'll be responsible for performing a wide variety of duties related to the repair, maintenance, and installation of heating and cooling systems. You'll have the opportunity to work on a wide range of HVAC systems, including commercial and residential units, and you'll use your knowledge and expertise to diagnose and fix problems quickly and efficiently.
The ideal candidate for this position will be a focused and detail-oriented individual with a passion for providing top-notch service to customers. You should have a strong understanding of HVAC systems and equipment, as well as experience in troubleshooting, repairing, and installing a variety of systems and components. In addition, you should be able to work independently and as part of a team, and have excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of HVAC systems and equipment
- Troubleshoot problems, identify solutions, and communicate with customers throughout the repair process
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with company and industry standards
- Install new systems and components as needed, including ducts, filters, thermostats, and more
- Participate in on-call rotation for emergency repairs and service calls
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of all work performed
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience in an HVAC service technician role
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- EPA certification for handling refrigerants
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to participate in on-call rotation for emergency repairs and service calls
