Job Description - HVAC Service Technician
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our team at Texas Lone Star AC & HTG LLC. As an HVAC Service Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems for our customers in Brownsville Texas.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and troubleshoot heating and cooling equipment, including detecting and repairing leaks, malfunctions, and failures.
- Install, update or repair air conditioning, heating, and ventilation systems as per client’s requirements.
- Determines parts and tools required for repairs.
- Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems, including filter replacements and lubrication of parts.
- Ensure that all HVAC systems run efficiently and safely and maintain the appropriate temperature and air quality inside buildings.
- Identify and resolve equipment malfunctions, defects, or damages in a timely and efficient manner.
- Coordinate with customers to arrange appointments, answer inquiries, and provide excellent customer service.
- Keep records of completed work, maintenance logs, and all other paperwork as needed.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an HVAC Service Technician; minimum of 2 years in the field.
- Adequate knowledge in refrigeration and air conditioning systems, as well as electrical and mechanical components of HVAC equipment.
- Ability to use various testing equipment and hand tools with precision.
- Understanding of current and emerging HVAC technologies.
- Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair heating and cooling systems.
- Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation.
- Must be reliable and have a strong work ethic.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Relevant certification or license in HVAC is an added advantage.
