What you'll do: u2022Uphold and enforce company policies, procedures, and corporate directives u2022Execute store opening and closing procedures and be highly responsible for the store keys and security measures u2022Serve as Manager on Duty when needed u2022Give basic coaching to Retail Associates as needed u2022Help build product-knowledge driven sales culture, sharing your knowledge of our industry, eco-initiatives, and high-quality product to Associates and Customers u2022Actively help and engage with customers' wants and needs u2022Drive sales and build relationships with customers u2022Represent Volcom brand with actions and knowledge of product u2022Bring your passion for Volcom, snowboarding, skateboarding, surfing, or the action sports industry into the store environment to connect and build relationships with customers u2022Complete customer transactions in a timely and accurate manner u2022Inform customers of current sales and promotions u2022Merchandise men's, women's, and kid's clothing and accessories u2022Maintain floor appearance by receiving, checking, and shelving merchandise u2022Maintain store cleanliness by keeping areas organized and uncluttered u2022Collaborate with your team and delegate as needed to complete assigned tasks u2022Contribute to a fun, organized, efficient environment and lead by example u2022Perform other duties as assigned What you'll need: u2022High school graduate or equivalent u20226 months to 1-year experience retail experience in an apparel store u2022Flexible schedule; ability to work days, nights, weekends and holidays u2022Familiar with the Volcom brand and action sports industry u2022Interpersonal, customer service, and basic math skills u2022Lead a team by example effectively u2022Responsible and dependable u2022Be an effective team player u2022Strong ethical behavior u2022Strong sales training and knowledge *Perks: u2022Discounted Merch u2022401k with employer match (based on eligibility) u2022Fun work environment & team* Job Requirements: u2022Ability to transport and position a minimum of 10 lbs u2022Ability to constantly move within the store and backroom u2022Ability to stand (or remain in a stationary position) for long periods of time u2022Great communication skills with customers, store team, and corporate u2022Ability to accurately process cash transactions, including basic math/counting skills
