CNA, Long Term Care and Skilled Rehab

We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team in providing excellent care and support to our residents in the Long Term Care and Skilled Rehab units.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Monitor and record vital signs of residents.
• Provide assistance with transferring and ambulation.
• Assist in the administration of medication under the supervision of licensed nursing staff.
• Ensure the comfort and well-being of residents, attending to their physical and emotional needs.
• Document and report any changes in residents' conditions to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
• Promote a positive and supportive environment for residents and their families.
• Adhere to all safety and infection control policies and procedures.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Valid certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
• Previous experience in a long-term care or skilled rehab facility preferred.
• Knowledge of basic nursing procedures and techniques.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Basic computer skills for documentation purposes.
