CNA CERTIFIED NURSE'S AIDE

Job Description:

Alaris Health At St Mary's is seeking a dedicated and compassionate CNA Certified Nurse's Aide to join our skilled nursing facility. As a vital member of our healthcare team, you will provide direct patient care and support to ensure the physical and emotional well-being of our residents.

Responsibilities:

1. Assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs):

- Provide assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.

- Assist residents with mobility, including transferring and positioning.

- Help with eating and ensure proper nutrition and hydration.

- Support residents in using the bathroom and maintaining continence.

2. Monitoring and Reporting:

- Observe and document changes in residents' physical and emotional condition.

- Report any concerns or unusual findings to the nursing staff.

- Record vital signs accurately and timely.

- Assist in maintaining a safe, clean, and organized environment.

3. Building Relationships:

- Interact with residents in a warm, supportive, and respectful manner.

- Communicate effectively with residents, family members, and the multidisciplinary team.

- Foster positive interpersonal relationships within the facility.

Requirements:

- Current certification as a Nurse's Aide (CNA) in the state of New Jersey.

- High school diploma or equivalent.

- Prior experience in a healthcare or long-term care facility is preferred.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

- Compassionate nature and genuine desire to help others.

- Excellent attention to detail and organization skills.
