Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Job Description

Grand Islander Center is a skilled nursing facility located in Middletown, RI. We are currently seeking Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our team. We offer new base rates of $24 per hour with earning potential up to $30 per hour! Additionally, we provide a retention bonus of $3000.

As an LPN at Grand Islander Center, you will be part of a clinical team dedicated to delivering efficient and effective nursing care to our patients and residents. Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering nursing care that achieves positive clinical outcomes and patient/family satisfaction
• Evaluating patients to collect data, observe condition, and report changes in condition
• Contributing to nursing assessments and care planning
• Supervising and monitoring patient care provided by unlicensed staff
• Administering medications and performing treatments per physician orders

Qualifications:

• Must be a graduate of an approved school for practical or vocational nursing
• Must be currently licensed by the State Board of Nursing or pending licensed practical nurse licensure
• Experience in rehabilitative or geriatric nursing is preferred
• Must maintain current BLS/CPR certification if employed at a skilled nursing center or as required by the state of practice if an assisted living facility
