You will be responsible for providing installation, maintenance, and repair services on various HVAC systems, including air conditioners, furnaces, heat pumps, and boilers. Your overall role will be to ensure that our clients' HVAC systems operate safely, efficiently, and effectively.
As a HVAC Service Technician at Berg's Heating & Air Conditioning, you will:
- Collaborate with management and clients to identify service needs and equipment specifications.
- Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including but not limited to ductwork, thermostats, humidifiers, and air filtration systems.
- Inspect and troubleshoot various HVAC systems and equipment to diagnose and repair malfunctions.
- Provide customers with detailed system information, including system age, condition, and required repairs.
- Comply with safety standards and procedures when handling HVAC equipment and materials.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technological developments in the HVAC field.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of experience in HVAC installation, maintenance, and repair service.
- Solid knowledge of various HVAC systems, including their installation and repair processes.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts when required.
