Build Programmer Role

We are currently seeking a talented and passionate Build Programmer to join our team. As a Build Programmer at Bethesda, you will play a crucial role in the development process, ensuring the smooth and efficient creation of our video games. You will work closely with our development teams to design and implement build systems that streamline the build and deployment processes.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop build systems to automate the compilation, building, and packaging of game assets
• Create and maintain efficient build scripts and tools
• Collaborate with development teams to identify and address build-related issues
• Optimize build pipeline and workflows to improve productivity
• Implement version control and repository management systems
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices
• Support continuous integration and delivery processes

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Strong programming skills in C++ and/or C#
• Experience with build automation tools, such as Jenkins or TeamCity
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Lua, etc.)
• Knowledge of version control systems (Git, Perforce, etc.)
• Understanding of software development processes and methodologies
• Ability to troubleshoot and debug build-related issues
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
