PBX Technician- (Phone Handset IMAC- (Analog/VOIP)

Working onsite in Washington DC Description: PBX Technician:  The resource will provide hands on support for phone handset (analog and VOIP technologies) and wall jack activations for phone systems onsite  Technologies: (Cisco/Siemens, Avaya/Unify) -The candidate should have experience at least one of the preferred technologies (VOIP and Phone)  Will provide training for the other technologies on site. Other experience required corresponding with daily tasks to be successful in the role  Punch downs  Cross connect  66 block- must have experience  Familiar with data equipment  Fluking switch ports aka using fluke tester  Running link runner  Fluking a data point  Cross connects  Activating jacks  Cat 5 cat 6 Skills: cabling, fluke, voice, pbx, lan, siemens, fluke devices, voice & data, cisco voice, IMAC, Cable, Support o Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
