Social Service Director - Urgent Role

We are currently seeking a talented and passionate Social Service Director to join our team at Cedar Ridge Inn. As the Social Service Director, you will play a vital role in supporting the emotional and social well-being of our residents. This is an urgent role and requires immediate availability.

Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate the psycho-social needs of residents to create individualized care plans.
• Provide counseling and emotional support to residents and their families.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure the highest level of resident care.
• Advocate for resident rights and ensure adherence to ethical and professional standards.
• Coordinate and facilitate support groups, educational programs, and other social activities.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of services provided.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a related field.
• State licensure or certification as a Social Worker (LMSW, LCSW, or equivalent).
• Prior experience in a social service role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Empathy and compassion for the elderly population.
